Shiatsu is a Japanese form of body massage therapy that translates to 'finger pressure' in Japanese. Zen Shiatsu, also known as 'Meridian Shiatsu', begins with a diagnosis of the Hara (Stomach) and focuses on balancing the body by treating the weakest and strongest Meridians. The techniques used in Shiatsu include pressing specific pressure points, stretching the Meridians, rotating the body, and breathing exercises to energize and center the body.
